Lisa Gall

A 25-year communications veteran in the not-for-profit and public sectors, Lisa currently serves as a Senior Communications Advisor with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Her professional “happy place” is – and likely always will be - working for member-based associations to develop strategic communications in support of organizational priorities. An ongoing commitment to serve the membership drives Lisa’s efforts to create purposeful communications, build relationships at all levels and strive for meaningful engagement.

A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Lisa obtained an honours undergraduate degree in History. She later earned certificates in public relations and communications management from Algonquin College and Mount Royal University. A lifelong learner, she continues to pursue opportunities to expand her knowledge, skills, and abilities as a communicator. Lisa is likewise passionate about learning new languages as a gateway to encounter new cultures, meet new people and travel to new places.

A long-time volunteer, Lisa previously served as a facilitator for English as a Second Language informal discussion groups and as a delegated representative on the Board of Directors for the Fondation Lucien-Labelle (formerly La Fondation canadienne de la vidéo religieuse). In addition to Families Canada, she also volunteers with the Manotick Food Cupboard.

Lisa and her husband are the proud parents of two sons.
