Kelly Stone is the former President and CEO of Families. Kelly led the rebranding, modernization, and organizational transformation of Families Canada. Kelly’s efforts were recognized in her nomination as a Finalist for the National Capital Region’s 2017 Businesswoman of the Year Awards. 

 During her long Government of Canada career, Kelly had responsibility for child and youth research, public policy and community-level programming. Kelly’s extensive international work also advanced child rights-based legislative and public policy frameworks tied with practical in-country, in-community implementation strategies particularly in Mexico, Central and South America. Kelly serves as a Board Director or Advisory Committee member for several organizations and initiatives in Canada and the United States; all are devoted to improving the lives of children and their families.
