Session
Overview

Families Canada, together with partners Council on Aging of Ottawa, Andrew Fleck Children’s Services, and Eastern Ontario Health Unit, is working to reduce dementia stigma and increase the capacity of the family support sector to integrate dementia-inclusivity in intergenerational programming. To accomplish this, we would like to hear from you! Under our new project, "Dementia Awareness in Intergenerational Programming", funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, we are hosting two online consultations. These will be informal discussions for service providers to engage with their peers and share their experiences with intergenerational programming and working with individuals with dementia.

This consultation session will inform the development of resources to reduce dementia stigma and increase the capacity of the family support sector to integrate dementia-inclusivity in their intergenerational programming.
