Our Workshops and Webinars

Families Canada holds practical professional development webinars and workshops for those who work in the family support field. Upcoming webinars and workshops will be announced on our events calendar.

Executive Dialogue Program

We began this program as a response to the pandemic, but there are still many challenges to manage before family support centres return to regular operations. To promote senior management learning and exchange, we are offering this Executive Dialogue program for executive directors (or equivalent) as a forum for learning and sharing, as well as navigational help for specific crisis and recovery management-related issues.

Join us for our upcoming 2021 Fall Executive Dialogue Program!

The first two sessions will be Self-Care workshops for senior management of family support centres led by leadership expert Marnee Bruno.  Learn how to use self-care as a leadership strategy, practical tools and tips to implement a self-care routine and take a deeper dive into the barriers to self-care.

  • September 17th: Self-Care as a Leadership Strategy (Self-Care Workshop 1)
  • October 15th: Pathways to Self-Care (Self-Care Workshop 2)
