Marisa Capano

Marisa Capano is the Communications and Technology Officer at Families Canada, where she oversees and supports the Shopify store, Membership Management System, Learning Management System, Wordpress website, and podcast hosting platform. Marisa coordinates the development, production, and distribution of print and digital communications products—including social media, and collaborates with the team and digital marketing agency to develop campaigns.  

Marisa holds an honours degree from the University of Toronto with a double major in Political Science and Professional Writing and Communications. She has spent the beginning of her career in the non-profit sector, and is passionate about mental health, and advocating for the voice of youth. In her spare time, Marisa dedicates herself to health, fitness, and her dog.
